Sally Van Slyke
Owner, came to the catering business in a round-about way. During her many years as an executive in the entertainment industry, culminating in eight years as head of Marketing, Publicity and Promotion for Universal Pictures, she frequently indulged her "other" love by enrolling in cooking and event design classes throughout the world. As a combined result of her professional career and her "hobby" she is particularly well-versed in event management & design and International Cuisine.

  • • Wild Thyme maintains a list of fifty qualified service people. They are required to wear black dress pants, white dress shirt, black dress shoes & socks, hair pulled back. Wild Thyme provides each server with a freshly laundered bistro white apron embroidered with the green Wild Thyme logo and a coordinated bow tie.
  • • For very formal service the staff is required to wear tuxedos.
  • • On-site Chefs wear the industry standard Chef's jackets over either Chef's plaid or black pants. Toques upon client request.
  • • Safety & Sanitation Laws are posted at each job site and enforced. Any service personnel directly touching the food items is required to wear plastic gloves.
